Social Care Workers

Key requirements:

- Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship NOT provided)
- DBS Check on the Update Service (one can be applied for upon application if you do not have one)
- QQI or Fetac level 7 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Two professional references with one being from your most recent employer
- A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Social Care Worker
- Driving license, business insurance and own vehicle

Main responsibilities include:

- Providing enthusiastic and compassionate care, to contribute to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Being willing and eager to complete addition training and upskilling.
- Assisting clients who have limited mobility, by the use of hoists, wheelchairs, stand-aids, etc.
- Providing practical support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care, taking to appointments, etc.
- Supporting clients with medication management, eg. stocktake, ordering, collecting and administering.
- Safeguarding individuals and reporting any concerns.
- Accurate and timely record keeping, including incident/accident reports
- Able to work on a rolling rota basis and being part of a team around the client as well as working collaboratively with management.
