Job description:

We are hiring for compassionate and dedicated Support Worker/ Care Assistant to join our healthcare team in the Clare Region.

The role of the Support Worker/Care Assistant is to work with people with an intellectual disability and must believe that the person has the right to live and participate in the community equally with other people. This role is for 20 hours per week Monday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm and 2 Saturdays in the month from 10am -1pm. The sucessful candidate will also be working alongside a Registard General Nurse in the clients own home.

Job requirements:

• Relevant Fetac Level 5 qualification or Higher. Minimum
• 12 months experience in a relevant setting.
• Display a good working knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Full Clean drivers licence (Class B) is essential.
